it depends how much poer you want. i personally will be running the on3 t76 with 1.0 twin scroll a/r housing.idk the specs on the t70 but the t76 has a small
exhaust wheel about the same as a tc76.i think my setup when done will spool very quick.id say though may as well get the t76

Just a heads up for anyone thinking of going with the Modular Turbo hotside and an On3 turbo. It works like the two were made for each other! You can check it out in my build thread in my signature.

This is what was spec'd for me. I'm also doing a custom rear mount. (LS9 Cam, Stock Bottom End)

On3 Performance - T4 Turbocharger - 76mm - (ball bearing) -
Compressor:
Inducer: 76.7mm, Exducer: 102.4mm, Inlet: 100mm, Outlet: 75mm
Exhaust: Flange: T4 Outlet: 3” Vband A/R: .96, Inducer: 74.2mm, Exducer: 64.5mm

Should be only another week. Found out my Methanol/Water pump is not working... have to order a new one.

Good luck.

I was also wondering about sizing. Want to do twins on a 408 but not sure of sizing. What a/r's would you guys suggest for twin 70's or 76's? Want to make 8-900 hp with decent spool up on the street. Just looking for suggestions or input

the non ball bearing is $330 shipped everyone who has that t76 like godspeed and so fourth wants $500 for the journal t76.on3 is cheaper for the most part.

ill have results on my t76 rearmount in the next month.rearmount is almost done just waiting on a few parts

LOL. So I guess Smelling like South America is ok, but Smelling like China... apparently that's not ok. Sorry, hehehe, I didn't get the memo.

Anyone get any confirmation on whether On3's are made in South America (Yay!) and not China (Boo!).

Because South America is still "Made in America", right? (Just down south... further south... past Texas... and we're ok with that)

Magnum did state that they used "some common parts" to the chinese turbos. My guess is that they get all the parts from China and assemble them in Brazil or wherever. Just a guess though based on their statement of using common parts.

Would It help the lil exducer 64mm wheel, if you go from a 3in downpipe to a 4in?

Not sure it would help my setup very much.
1) I'm rear mount and
2) the 3" dumps about 24" from the turbo out the tailpipe.

Got my dyno numbers back. 550 rwhp @10 lbs boost
Not bad for rear mount.
Only issue I have is that I had put in 4.10 gears (before I decided to go FI). I burn through 1st so fast, I don't even see boost. Top out 3rd gear at about 115. Too low to finish the 1/4 mile.

First 1/4 mile run will be this Friday. Hope I do better than my 13.3 @101 before the turbo project. !!!

Thanks! Yeah, this was rear mount T76 Ball Bearing (On3 Performance). Specs are posted a few posts above.

I was told that if I went with the journal bearing, the T70 would spool fine, but the T76 might have problems given my current setup. But when I mentioned that I may want to go forged bottom later and up the boost to > 10 psi, (and drop the rearend back down from 4.10 to 3.42), my guy said I should go with the T76 Ball Bearing. That way it will still spool good with current setup, and would give me the room to grow into the forged setup. The T76 BB will support >700 rwhp, which is more than I would ever want to see in a convertible.

Next steps, drop back down to 3.42 rearend (or 3.23... haven't firmly decided yet), then go forged bottom, then up the boost, then buy new tranny and driveshaft. Then see what else I can break.
