Because twin 76mm turbos on E85 is capable of 1500+ HP. Not to mention it wouldn't spool on a 5.3 until 5000 RPM.

 

Yeah its leaking past the seals on the compressor side,idk maybe my lines on my exa pump are not big enough. I also recently got some results at the track. Im runni.g 2.73 gears with my 6speed so I leave like im leaving a stop light but I trapped 123 andgained
Almost 20mph from just before the 1000 ft mark to thru the traps. The car was getting retarded above 4000rpm in 4th

When I ordered mine he told me 76mm's all come with .96 backside....

Because the turbine is tiny and on a 6.o with LS3 top end its going to choke and you wont even come close to full potential of the combo compared to if you chose the proper sized turbo.

 

yea I know ur right on that, wr have a bullseye 80mm we was gong to use but I don't feel like cutting **** on the frame to make it fit cause Bitch is huge!.

I just spoke to him he is a cool dude ordered the biggest ar he has for it which is 1.15 . said he has some single turbo kitsthat are going to come out for fbods and a front mount 88mm for our cars late fall. told him about this thread so he might stop by sometime.

 

Did he mention how much the 88s were going to cost?

Thanks for sharing that man. I am going to attempt to run the 76mm with the .96 ar (thought that was the biggest they had when I ordered last fall) on my LQ4. It should make for a fun street car which is what I am going for. Wonder how much the 88mm will be? Might have to upgrade depending on how this turbo works out. Been working on the car for about 9 months off and on so I think it is time to kick this thing in high gear and get it done.

 

Get a 70mm with .96ar. My 76mm with .96ar takes light years to spool on my 5.3 although I'm rear mounted. Depending on which cam you have you'll probably spool between 2500-3000rpm with the 70mm.

 

I been speaking to him for a good while, he said the turbo set up should come out withing two months and the 88 probably by December.

 

Thats not the turbo's fault. Its the way you have installed it.
