well im gona try their 76mm bb unit. very good price and he's local. most of the mustang guys ive talked to who acutally have his kit are more than happy. there are those that always wana knock another mfg by hearsay but im happy finding out for myself. like most others i dont just believe what i read but what i see. if my buddys car went 11.20s with their 67mm im shure their 70 should be evan better but im going to the 76mm bb,

Not to nitpick, but that was hotrod mag, and they were CXRacing T76's @ $600 a piece.
I think the article 10-e-c-350z may be referring to is this one, where they used a single ETD Motors "T76" and made 596hp.
Regards,
Kurt

I'm doing an on3 76mm on a stock motor. I have never been a fan of cheap stuff as you usually get what you pay for, however that's what everyone said about the master power stuff and no one I know of has problems with those turbos. And I figure for under $350 shipped it's worth a shot. Its just a fun project with inexpensive parts. When I build a good motor for next year I will be running a "good" turbo. My build will be cheaper than a set of kooks and a nitrous kit and probably do just as well if not better.

my buddie that had the 67mm made over 500 whp and went 11.2 still stock rear stock suspension stock short block on 11 psi. but it was too small for a ls1 wich is why it made 650 and 660tq with a 76mm and 14psi and over 550 with 9psi. i have a 2300 dollar 88mm on the s10 and u know what its no better than any other turbo ive seen just cost me more out of my pocket.

+1... I've definitely been searching high and low for a reason not to go with the on3. I may just take the plunge that way if it takes a crap I'm only out about 1/2 what i would've had in a Turbonetics.

These days most turbos are built and manufactured with similar tolerances...you guys know even Garrett turbos are made in China now right?
Almost impossible to find American made products anymore, its hard to compete with China these days unfortunately, so much of our (American) dollars goes to them in boatloads...literally.
Am am researching turbos for my Tacoma LS1 swap and think I am going the remote turbo route do to space issues, I just would rather have a regular gravity drained turbo system.
My turbo choice will obviously be determined by its placement (conventional vs. remote) still sorting through informative forum posts daily...

well if i'm gna be buildin the motor, then for the price, I mite as well go with twin 70's for just a few hundred more(plus a little extra fab) and take advantage of the extra cfm per psi and a good spool up, plus the uniqueness. If i were to go with it, then it would def be a limited or outlaw 8.5 car. I'd be doin pretty much all the fab as well, just seems like a fun project.
