I been eye balling this turbo for a while now. How do you guys think a t70 with the 1.0 ar will spool on a stock 5.3 with ls6 cam and intake?

Personally I would go with the 76mm for $25 more We are doing two 5.3 builds right now, one with a single 76mm that will be used for road race and is shooting for around 500-550 whp and the other, mine, that is using twin 70mm and will be more drag race oriented. I know it CAN be done, but when I see single turbo on a V8, I just cringe at under 76mm.

Do some searching in this forum and google. A few people using them with good results. I have one myself but haven't run it yet. Just search for on3performance. The only problem I've heard is people getting small A/Rs when you order them on ebay but if you contact them directly they can ensure that you get exactly what you want.

Have one but have not ran it yet. Seems decent. Interested in the numbers they would make

A lot of people seem to have them but there's no data about power with them and durability. I think mine will last a while but I may switch to a bw s475

They look like a quality turbo for the price. I will b using one in a build next yr. I inquired about some parts. Quick response and pretty good prices. I've bought other turbo parts off eBay without any replies to questions or customer service.

Idk I would take a tc over a magnum. Since similar priced.
Tnetics has the warranty deal as long as don't break there seals.
But I'm gonna try a on3. 350$ for a 70mm is not so bad in my book. I got a quote for bout 530
For there 38mm wg,bov, and 70mm turbo shipped.

Big thread here, oddly enough with the exact same thread name. Please use search.

I dissected mine, it is a ceramic ball bearing and journal bearing hybrid. Post 73 in that thread is where the pics begin.

Some are, some are journal bearing. There was a guy on one thread that disassembled one of the ball bearing turbos and said it looked to be good quality.

not trying to stir the pot, but the on3 76 is 689.00, and i've found the tc78 for 799.00. so you save only 110.00 bucks, that's only one nights bar tab. soo why go with it?

Yea I gave on3 a call they said the biggest A/R was a 96 for the t76. And that they were ceramic ball bearing turbos. So I guess ill be buying one!
