Default Help me hit 1000 hp (turbo & fuel help)

So i just bought some parts for my motor and decided to sell my TC78 turbo and step it up. If im doing it im doing it how i want it done the first time. So all of this is going into my 87 Notch Fox. This will be a truck manifold setup.

My orginal setup was supposed to be a lq4 with 243 ported head and ls2 intake with custom turbo cam, tc78 turbo, 72# injectors, aeromotive a1000 fuel pump.

So things are changing, now i have my lq4, stock crank, eagle rods, pistons, 317 heads, 1.7 rockers, still have the 72# injectors and fuel pump. Going to get a METH system aswell to help.

SOOO i am curious what your thoughts are on my fuel pump and what size injectors to hit 1000. Also turbo... still up in the air, im trying to be on as much a budget i can be on to hit 1000 hp. This is a street / strip car. Thoughts .. 76gts do it?? Let me know what you think.

IMO the 72's will be too small to hit 1XXX unless you plan on running crazy base pressure. my 80's were already at 85%DC with just 9psi on the gate with a base pressure of 60psi...

budget and a good turbo setup dont go in the same sentence together.

Id hit up Forced inductions, for 1500 bucks, they can def get you into a turbo that will get your goals. They are a sponsor on the right>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

And i agree, the injectors will hold you back, especially if you are going to use E85. Looks like your off to a good start.

i have a magnafuel 4301. im about to upgrage it to a 4303. and i have injectors that for 103lbs at 43.5 psi. -10 feed. -8 return.
i have a single turbo and a th400. 1k wheel threw a th400 is about 1200 to the flywheel.

1k wheel and 800 wheel is a big price differance in parts

well the 4301 pump -8 feed, rc750cc injectors 60psi base pressure with a boost ref regulator (with meth injection 10 and a 15 nozzle) with a degree or two low on timing at 14psi i was mid 600 wheel. 102%dc.

now with my 103lbs im at 80ish % at 20psi w/o meth -10feed 50psi base with boost ref.
