Default Blower choice

Has anyone compiled a complete, unbiased list of blowers available that shows the type, cost, best application, pros and cons, etc.? I am ready to choose and am having trouble getting information. It would really help to see a side by side comparison. This is for a 90% street application in a street rod.

Well, you need to be a little more specific of what you plan to supercharge. Truck, F-body, corvette?

What he said. It will also help knowing the size of whatever motor you have and the information on it. I'd say because there are so many combinations people have ran is the reason there isn't a list of blowers out there. Different blowers work better with different engine set ups if that makes sense.

2005 6.0 truck block with ls2 heads
Camaro front drive accessories
9.0 to 1 forged pistons
I-beam forged rods
stock crank with everything balanced
lunati cam and springs for blower application
long tube headers with no cats
90% street driven
4.10 posi in 8.8 Ford differential
I do not want to turn over 6,000 rpm.
I do not want centrifugal blower.
Leaning toward Maggie TVS

If your looking at a positive displacement, look at them all. Kenny Bell, Whipple and TVS to list the majors. What power range are you looking at?

Tvs2300 FTW.

Been very happy so far. 853rwtq with no spray or heavy tuning. Hope to see 900 at the rear wheels.

500 at the rear wheels is probably plenty. I am not sure how much I can hook up with this car. Durability is a big issue with me. Will a stock 4L80E hold up to this?

So based on the fact you've limited yourself to one or two options, was there a need for a question ?

The only real options if fitments exist are a TVS, or Whipple.

And a taller diff ratio will probably be needed when you make some power. 4.10 is pretty short.
