so just so im not mis understanding what you wrote, you are using a factory Fbody manifold on the driver side, facing toward the back, and a truck manifold on the passenger side facing forward, the driver side is running around the back of the motor and around the passenger side then both around the front? Sorry, thats what i took away from your description. lol

Truck manifold on passenger side facing to the front of the car, pipe runs out of it, down across the front of the motor into the merge. Car manifold on drivers side facing back of car, comes out and goes straight to the front of the car, under the crossmember(has lots of ground clearance here vs an fbody), comes up into merge.

Yes they are maxed out lol. We run ~95lbs fuel pressure to keep them working, I really need to step up to some bigger injectors.

Got the rear all square, car now goes straight! Went 5.53 in the 1/8th (with letting off) with only a 1.39 60ft(left easy and on low boost till about 100ft out). On my 8.65 pass it went 5.70 in the 1/8th for comparison. Then next pass left still low on the 2 step(only 3500) and at 7lbs of boost and went 1.33 60ft then broke something in the trans. Will be upgrading the chassis the rest of the way(and finally legal so can get more passes in) and losing weight for next year.

Are you running a stock planetary skinnies or a 1.80 straight cut? If the planetary broke might be time for a 1.69 so you can throw the kitchen sink at it off the line

I has 1.80's in it, I haven't torn into it, won't for awhile as we have a lot of work booked up. I'd guess it would've went a 5.4x on that pass had I not lifted, not bad for the really soft 1.39 60ft. Now that it leaves straight we can start turning it up on the line! A few weeks ago I left at 4k and around 15lbs and it dead hooked it, just went right so had to get out of it, traction wasn't the problem before(on a decent track), it was just not going straight, which it does now.

I think I'll keep the 1.80's, it has a 3.50 gear is all and a 33" tire, it'll do about 100mph in 1st as it sits, lol.

Awesome thread. I wonder if the older 5.3's can hold up to the kind of abuse Skinnies, dishes out.

Just an update, won't get another hit at it, sold the car to a friend who is doing a nitrous build with it so not more runs at going low 8's on the stock bottom end.

Thanks for showing what works!
