Dang.....work has caused me to miss a bunch of stuff today!! I'm telling you guys that Rob and MM are the same guy messing with us. I'm glad I got an Incon kit...no controversy with that one!!!!

Dave when are you going back to the track again? Really, I am asking when do you expect to give it a all out run down the 1/4?

tried (unsucessfully) to get the tach working today.. well night by the time i got home.. but will go at it again tomorrow.

as my luck usually goes, wolfe sent me the wrong door bar so i cant put in the bar until all that mess gets sorted out.. really dissapointed there..

i have to get the rear in and 300 miles or so on it and the new pads/rotors that are badly needed to haul it down at my short track. same 300 miles on them.. so maybe week after the 12 bolt arrives till i go full tilt. so call it 3 weeks as a guestimate??

Rob, this is the only part I have to say anything about.

You said you were ready to drop it, then Dave goes on another board, not LS1Tech.com and bashes. Then leave it there. If you got a problem with the police do you take it out on the Veternarian? No, leave the **** of other boards to the other boards.

And I encourage the Moderators here to publicly warn both of you from posting in one anothers threads or be banned.

This **** is ridiculous, you both need to STFU with it and take it to the track but leave it out of threads for ppl like me to read and try to learn please.

What setup are you building? You should come out the the FI meet in June. Get a sneak preview of the nightmare you are about to enter.

Don't worry about the blower, worry about the motor This year I'm gonna see how far a stock blown motor can be pushed, next year I'm gonna see how far the D1 can be pushed on a built for big boost motor. Then we'll see what FI has to offer and I can upgrade my FI head unit. I'd really like to shoehorn a twin screw on there and with the new GTO out, in two years that might be doable. Should be a relatively easy swap as the motor, fuel, and supporting components will already be there. If not maybe an F1R or turbo(see I'm not a total hater).

But we've hijacked Dave's thread enough. You come to the FI meet with your big bad turbo. By then Dave and I will be setup and we'll see what's up.

Brad it's June 19th. Should be a great turnout for the FI cars. Brad what you were dynoing when you went 132 or whatever your top speed is? And what was the raceweight?

Too late, this sucker has been hijacked and rode hard. lol. No use stoppin now... lol... BTW, don't blow your motor up Mike. Which Alchy system you getting??? I assume you'll be doing alchy. I still have my 6.0L iron block if you wanna buy it off me. That was gonna be my blower motor at one time. Maybe trade it for a chunk off the price of your 12-bolt? As for this year, I'm going to have a stronger bottom end, so we'll see what we see. I'm gonna assume though that you should bring plenty of KY when ya line up with the turbo-hawk. lol.

SMC. Steve is hooking up a sweet little setup for me with the progressive controller. We can talk about the parts swapping, cause I'm not sure yet what I want to do. I just need to get a few more things squared away and I'll have the setup that I'm gonna run with this season. At the track you are gonna rough me up this year, but last I checked you needed to drive on the street to get to and from the track. Let's see if you're as tough out there (Disclaimer: Not that I condone or participate in illegal street racing, it's bad!)

Mike

p.s. Got another part on my front door step today. is that like the best feeling or what? I feel like it's christmas.

well dammit.. work sends me to Vegas for a few days, and then all this happens...

Well if you were wondering who the crappy camera guy was on those passes... he he... that's right, me...... but i consider it not too bad considering i had a frosty Miller Lite in the other hand

I rode in the car the night he got it back..... and anything that can break DR's loose from a 75mph roll in 4th gear tends to scare the **** out of me..... and it did. George built one hell of a bitch'n turbo kit.

I guess i am gonne give MM some slack , since he went from an auto 16 sec bravada he had been driving for months to 900hp WOT blasts down the quarter in mere hours of getting the car back

Ah well.... the shootout should be fun!

Most of it is already built. Just waiting on the funds to finish it off. If you were at the last FI meet my car was there. It was the one Jason was driving. I'll definately see if I can make it out in June. Probably won't be racing since funds are nonexistent at this time.

We can do 25 to 100 rolls on the street if you want. Should be pretty quick sprints I don't go over 125 anymore. At least not until I get some sort of suspension on the car. 95 is about the only place top dog cars can do sprints.
