Default Clutch for F/I

I recently put on my procharger and i'm planing on going with the spec 3 clutch...I don't see the need for me to get the new I design....But should i reuse the stock flywheel and get it resurfaced or get a new flywheel???

if i were you id get the stage 5 or get a mcloud / ram

you can keep your existing flywheel if you get it resurfaced.

Did you use the stock flywheel or get a spec flywheel???

I should have about 480 rwhp so would you guys prefer the spec 3I...cause the spec 3 xpad is rated for min 500hp...

I had a spec 3 Kevlar. its been on the car for 32K miles. Has done really well with 6# Procharger. Its just starting to go out. I have an adjustable master and a 145 Slave. Time for another Spec 3.

My Stage 3 Spec quit at 1000 miles and SPEC did replace it under warranty, but after that i sold the SPEC and went with Mcloed and im happy with it more than the SPEC. No shatter or engagment problems. Go with the Mcleod and save ur self the money u are going to spend on taking the SPEC out and put it back in.

I had a Ram VDS in for two years, very satified with it. After two years I put some ET Streets on the car and it was not happy camper after the first time down the track. But I did drive it daily for the most part and had it to the track on DR's for a number of times. It's fine with street tires on, it got me home with no problems, I am still driving it and it will break the tires loose at 50mph. It didn't like the holeshot at the track with the slicks. I think I got my moneys worth out of it. I going to give the Street Twin a try this time around. Spec seems to be a love or hate clutch. I spoke to their Tech line and the guy I talked to was a few fries short of a Happy Meal. Did give me a warm fuzzy and I called MeLeod and spoke to their tech guy (sounded like he was at home cooking I could hear pots in the background) but answered every question and offered some advice on other things I might want to get like their bleeder setup so it's not a PITA.
