Is it Edelbrock elbow too or another make?
I could use a shorther intake for packaging. The truck intake is just a bit tall.
Never mind just looked it up on Edelbrocks site. Nice looking assortment

Wow beautiful welds and products on that site. Do you think that Gt45 Y2004K would be able to take a 2900 lbs. chassis with a T56 into the low 10's? I know it would depend on many factors like driver skill, cam, injectors....etc. Just trying to figure out if this is a good option for me. Been going back and forth between the GT45 80mm and the BW S475 but if this turbo can get me to my goal under $200 then why the hell not.

I personally am running a gt42 from cxracing and made 549 on 9 lbs through a unlocked converter and th400 to the tire. and I will have some numbers as soon as the track opens. Im happy with it and it was a cheap budget build .

^@Dans....Yeah between the S475 and the GT45 80mm the GT45 may work out better for me due to space restrictions. The Y2K GT45 is smaller than the 80mm and also less than $250 for the Y2k and $650+ for the BW and the GT45 80mm. If the price for the 2 were closer in range I would choose the 80mm or BW all day. But the Y2K is much cheaper and if it can get me to my goal with my T56 (Tick Level 3), Cam, Diff with 3.54 ratio....I would rather spend the cash on other items.

Much appreciated sir. I have spent a decent amount on other parts so wherever i can save a few pesos I try and do so. I also have to keep in mind that my goals are low 10's on pump gas so I am not after any records. The idea of having the GT45 80mm or BW sounds amazing but may be a bit of overkill for my setup. However if some cash frees up somehow I wouldnt mind spending the extra cash for the larger frame turbos.
BTW did you ever dyno or trak the 6.0 setup? Any more details?

New to turbos and have a question about these gt45s. When people say they have a 76mm turbo for instance, is that the turbine exducer size they are referring to? I bought an l33 the other day and am looking to start a build. Been studying on here and the turbo forum as often as possible. Still tons to learn..
