For a 5.3L T56 truck, looking for ~600hp but with good usable power in the mid-range, would you recommend the On3 T76 or the GT45? The GT45 has the bigger 77mm turbine side so it won't choke out as soon, but only a 68mm compressor. While the On3 unit has a small 65mm turbine but the larger 76mm compressor. I'm torn between these two!

Question I have a built 6.0 stroke stroke but warhawk heads and a vodoo 294 cam that's range from 2900 to 7400 and with my hi ram Holley I plan on taking it to 7400 do u think one of these in a single would push around 900 hp or do u think even if I when twins with the on3 would they choke out at that rpm range

I think you would be maxing it out before 6000 rpms with a stroker motor. Twins I think you will be fine.

I talked to on3 today and 3 to 4 months they're thinking theyll offer a 88 mm single so I think I'll wait and get that it should be plenty and hoping it won't run out of breath i asked him what the specs will be and he said hell have to get back to me on them

I think one of the other Chinese turbo makers (or Brazilian as the case may be) was about to release one as well.

I think 750ish through a 6spd on boost only will be maxed out. I may be severely wrong but we are trapping 143-146 on 10-13psi @2900 lbs. and still spinning some. This turbo will go in the 150s at my weight if we can put it down. I can imagine what 20psi would be like if it stayed attached to the ground.

Is there some place where there is some info about what materials to use when modifying a cover ? I tried to search for some tips but didn't find any thing.

Thanks GD

I fiberglass thin metal behind the hole, then use some " kitty hair" bondo for the front.

I have this smaller one thats smoothed out and filled in for sale

Got the Cxracing Gt45R ball bearing turbo with the 76.6 compressor wheel and 77.4 Turbine wheel. Numbers coming soon. Throwing this on a forged 5.3 so I'm gonna push it.
