I'd like to do the twin gt45's on a stock long block ls1 with a small cam, but I doubt they would spool on the street. Any thoughts on these? Seem to be decently sized for twins on an app like that.

I have had pretty good luck with this turbo. LQ4 w/ LS2 heads, TU1 cam, LS6 manifold, ebay GT45 11 PSI, powerglide, 5500 DA

I won't be turning the boost up until I get a ford 8.8 installed so I can change the gear ratio. 4.10 rear gear isn't helping much.
It weighs approximately 3000 lbs with me in it and is running on e85. I will post some pics later when I'm not on my phone.

Twin gt45's, OBX headers,LQ4, L92 Heads, LS9 cam, etc...

Still playing around with positioning. The OBX headers come too far forward (compared to Virginia Speed headers about 6" further forward), making it tough to fit it all. We are trying to fit it with fenderwells and not cutting them up.

I think the stock cubed LS1 will have trouble spooling these turbos so I'm building a forged LS3 to help spool them up. Do you guys think a 416ci would do the trick of should I just have the block resleeved and build a 427 or 433???
