Damn impressive, even if it was only for a one time max effort pull.

I think I'm overboosted at the moment as I am hitting 200kpa at 6900. I am also out of injector as well, but it's way rich above 4000rpm, sub 10.5:1.

What rear gears are you running? I have 3.73s in a factory 10-bolt and I'm considering going back to 3.42s to help a little in the traction department in first and second.

Nitroused383 isn't an idiot, he knows it's just a dyno queen number and not a real world number. Fact is, you can push a motor harder on a dyno since it doesn't see nearly the same load as on the street or track. It's simply a dyno number, nothing more, nothing less.

I'm pretty sure Nitroused trapped 133 running 10.6 through his cat-back at altitude.

Ya I ran 10.6 @ 133 with easy shifts, when I powershift it picks up 3-4 mph. I ran with a completely full tank The only pass I ran out before getting kicked off the track was at 9.5-10 afr with 3-5 degrees of timing lol! We all know how easy turbo's and 6 speeds are haha. I'd like to go back but I've been kicked 2 times in a row so they're on to me. My car isn't setup for drag though I have stock zr1's up front, stock LCA's, stock slp lowered bilstein springs / shocks and just 26" slicks. They had other cars at the event. 2002 TA, headers, LS6 intake, 230/234 cam and 243s did 405 through a 6 speed. My friends 01 camaro forged 370 prc 227 ($$$), 11.7:1, 238/250 cam, ported fast 90, 1 3/4 headers, 12 bolt and a 6 speed did 410 rwhp n/a and 550 / 680 on a 200 shot.

The impala in the video is a 470 bbc with twin 70mm turbos on 22 lbs of boost with a 75 shot of nitrous and q16 made 890 rwhp / and lots of toque.

Im supprised your car even runs with 3-5 degrees of timing. Lowest ive ever seen was 8 and it ran like real ****.

congrats on the times.

I'm running 3.5 gears, I really liked my 3.42's in the 10 bolt and the 3.42-3.5's gear range work great for our type of cars with 26" tall tires. 200 KPA sounds overboosted to me at that rpm, just don't rev it so high! Lean it out a little and your injectors will go a little further.

Thanks alot, it really makes me want to go back as I know I left a lot on the table. Ya I didn't realize the timing was so low until after I already got booted. It didn't feel like it was running right but I had my best launch of the night so I stayed in it. I think our track is open maybe 1 or 2 more fridays, I'd really like to go but they told me I'm done until I get a cage

No apology neccessary. It's hard to get inflection and intent on the net sometimes, correct that, most of the times.

I know the feeling of leaving it on the table and not hanging it all out.

I know you and alchemist have 6 spds, but the comment about the 26" tires and 3.50ish gears holds true for me too. My car really woke up with the 3.55's and 26" hoosiers. Even with my heavy *** chrome C6 ZO6 wheels(18" 305/35/18) it is plenty peppy.

Yeah, me too. I had a 550 rwhp/10 psi/15 * timing/stock motor car on the dyno and ran it at 6 degress and it made 320 rwhp.

Here is the graph with 15lbs of boost, you can see where the tune pulled 10 degrees of timing, dropped almost 100hp. If I had 10 more degrees of timing it either would have A. Blown the hell up or B. Made over 800 rwhp, considering it made 717 through the dual dual with 11.5 lbs and the 15lb pull was with open cutout. Fuel system was maxed out as you can see in my log file. 3.5 degree of timing lol but tapered up to 5.5 by 6000 rpm.

I was there that day. The dyno tech said to Nitroused383 "you just put down more power than the dragster, and you can take this thing to go get beer" lol

At least the track guy was "nice" about telling you, no more runs. Where I came from, they would throw you off the track property, no if-and-or buts about it. Nice numbers for such a "low" RPM.

Awesome man, just freaking amazing.

Your right about the A) B) thing it probably wouldn't have blown on the dyno though, it would of done it 100 miles away from home after a blast down the 1320, you know it's never that easy
