Please vote yes or no on weather or not you think Whipple should pursue this kit and tell everyone you know that has a Gen 4 F-body Camaro or Firebird to PM or email me. I don't care if you already have a TT kit, Procharger or Maggie, just tell me you want it anyway. The more "Yes's" I get, the faster I can get it done for you.
So no whipple for 4th gen???

^^blower is nice but I called whipple Friday and they told me no blower they make will fit under the cowl of a fourth Gen. Whipple told me they have no future plans of making one fit cause they wouldn't sell enough.

Ya they exist for LS1 engines but not 4th Gens.. Thats for old school swaps, sandrails, anything without space issues.

^^lmao!! I know it sucks Randolph. Look on the bright side tho at least we know you can fit a magnuson 2300 under the hood with a lil trimming and dropping the k member. Bruce put down 719rwhp on the dyno with a stock 6.0 bottom end. I'm go say it can push over 750 with a lil more boost. Sally was only runnin 12lbs of boost also.

Space the k down 1/4" if even needed, Maggie Hearbeat with Mast small bore LS3 heads...

Damn. That really would work, too.

I think would rather have a blower setup like the Maggie on the street than a turbo setup. The torque curves on the blower motors is just epic.

The maggies are to small right from the beginning. There ok for a 4.8 or 5.3 truck as a improvement over stock but that's it.

What if you had a sunoco hood and lower Kmember could you fit the whipple I wouldn't mind cutting the cowl a little I just don't want to remove the windshield wippers

^^^ I agree to a certain point but the TVS 2300 ain't the smallest blower out there. I have seen smaller. Maybe you thinking bout the mp112 kit. LME put a 2300 on a 427 lsx and it made over 900hp and 800 ftlb on pump gas. Check out this video on YouTube:

they are small, but are putting out some great numbers, look at the ZL1 and CTS V, tvs 1900. and are putting down north of 700whp. and the 2300 ZR1 blower are putting out even more. yes i'd like a twin screw, even if it was a 2.3L whipple. i think it would be enough to feed my power hunger.

I'd really only want 700 or so whp, my goal is to try and make the most power and still pass cali emissions test, aside from visual inspection. really like to do a 402 ls2 stroker with either a whipple 2.9 or magnachargers new heartbeat system, which is a tvs 2300 blower.

oh and i'd like to spin to 7K too. lol

TVS's have a much different rotor design. Even the 2300 is small for a 6.2. I've seen tests where ported 2.3's tapering boost off as rpm goes up on a ZR1. Of coarse it's making over 700 but that's a clear sign the blower is starting to work to hard.

Hey Killer_z I think the tvs 2300 will go well with a 402. Heintz racing did a similar setup but on a 408. Still put down 770rwhp and 780 on the torque with restriction on the inlet side they say.

I think a 2300 would work good in that application.
