yeh.. it's a love are hate I guess. I was really on the fence when I was told what Eric @ Steel Rides was doing being a mint original SS, but I really liked it after seeing it. The prep, paint, detail is amazing. This car doesn't have a smudge or swirl in the paint.

Thanks for the props

We took the car back to the track today and though we had a 20+ mph direct head wind it still was rolling

1.50 60

10.07@136

DA 874 according to Drag Times

The car still has some 60ft left in it, little tweaking on shift points and without a head we feel it would go 9.9x. We hope to get out 1 more time before the year is up to get the 9.99 slip

We will have some video in a few days as well.

Was the bottom end forged? Those are good numbers for that level boost. I wonder if it can get past 800rwhp maxed out with race gas

Awesome results I love seeing people actually getting a good baseline and improving upon that with real world numbers which you have done perfectly here.

Also that engine bay is sick, nice car for sure!

stock short block

We are very pleased with the overall combo and the power for the mods.

The car idles near stock and is a pretty decent sleeper in the way of power with the cutout closed and stock SLP dual/dual.

The cars grabs so much attention at the track since most just see it as a show car and think maybe a 12 sec car since it sounds so mild and then see it go deep 10's.

The car has a killer sound system, A/C, etc and gets driven on a regular basis in the summer if the sun is shining. it's no garage queen by any means

I'm sure we will see a larger cube forged motor and more HP down the road.

yeh.. I always like to keep improving on a combo and seeing the before and after results. I always feel it make the investment seem more worth it.

thanks
