When I went off the t brake it went to 8300 and never came down, I got out of the throttle twice to let the converter catch up but it didn't. I have all the logs saved, I'll send them to Phil and he can show you. You will crack up!

Btw, Phill is great and CRAZY! If the trans-converter was up to par I was more than willing to go with his madness!! LOL

Andy,
Its great working with you. I wish the tranny was doing better, the combination shows mid 7.3x potiental fairly easily. Its nice having a combo that will do what you tell it. Let me know if you can test anymore this year.

Absolutely, with zero doubt, twin 76GTS will go 200 in Andys car.

Word is he's only running 26psi!!!

Added: I switched to the low viscosity hygard, let me tell you, no more burnt nasty smelling trans fluid after each 4-5 passes and having to change it once a week. I know you guys probably change yours more than that, but the only fluid I found that would stand up is 10 dollar a quart Amsoil Super Shift Synthetic something or nother. Adds up quick. Hygard is 17 a gallon

I turned it up to 28, I was nervous to go any higher with the trans-converter issue.

Hygard is cheaper in the 5 gallon pails as far as I can remember.

How long is it going to take to get the converter fixed so you can make some hits and go 7.3x @ 200 and show em you dont need 88s.

Hey now, my SINGLE 76gts resents that comment!

26psi is damn impressive, 13 a piece on those turbo's is nothing, that's right around where I am at now and I can tell you how one feels. Andy that super shift is really good stuff though, but you really owe it to your wallet to try the Hygard!

Hey Phil where do you get it in 5 gallon pails? I can only find quart and gallon at my John Deere store that's local and it's a pretty big store in a big city.
