Default What cam for my turbo build? (List to choose from)

Ok guys heres the deal... I have a 99 C5 and Im building a forgded 370ci/317heads with a single PTE7675 CEA turbo.

I am trying to decide on a cam. I currently have an LS9 cam. I would like to make the most power I can. Drivability does not matter to me!

I just want your opinions on which cam would be the best and why?

1) Keep the LS9 Cam 211/230 .58x 122.5 LSA

2) 224/224 .551/551 114LSA

3) 226/226, 584/.584 115 LSA

4) 224/228 58x 58x lift on a 114

OR if anybody is selling one let me know!!!!

VTC-2 from VA Speed would be my recommendation. Do you have the right stuff to run the LS9 cam?

Seriously not trying to be a dick, but did you read my post? I am looking to spend $250-$275. I gave a list of a few cams that are available at that price. And yes, I have the right stuff to run the LS9 cam

Well the valve events are damn near all the same on those cams you listed. The LS9 is a blower cam with a very early EVO, if you want back pressure issues run the LS9. Other wise if those are your only choices all 3 of those will run almost the same so get the cheapest one.

Gotcha, but you would agree that they are all better choices than the LS9?

They would all be a better choice correct. Do you know what lobes each cam is ground on (comp xer xe, lunati, cam motion)? Looking at the valve events a little closer the 226/226 115 installed on a 113 ICL would run great.

All too small for my liking... but if I had to choose one, I would keep the LS9 cam till you could afford to get a custom grind turbo cam.

They are all too small but the last one would be best.

how about a 224/230 .581 .592 114lsa?

Or my buddy has a 231.6/228.2 114.9LSA custom grind he was putting in his 402 turbo car?

I would run our TU1 (225/225 113) or something similar.

You will easily max out the turbo with 22x cam so anything larger would just soften up the bottom end and reduce driveability with no peak power gain.
