What heads to use for ls1 turbo build

What heads to use for ls1 turbo build Have a 2000 ls1 with stock heads. Motor is going in a truck. I want to turbo the motor and change the heads. Not looking to buy aftermarket heads. Which would be better 243's, 317, or stage 2 5.3 heads. Motor has ls6 intake and 228r cam. Also would it help to port and polish them.
