If buying new i would defenitly go with the D1 and more importantly I would upgrade the standard J-braket to the Aster braket that i believe you can get as an upgrade from Bob@Brute with their kits.
As for fuel i would just get a walbro pump, the Hot Kit, and 60lb injectors
And one more thing... you might as well pin the crank
.if for some reason that pulley slips on the snout of the crank, it can trash it. might as well spend the $100, and take the time and do it right. i have a racetronix pump with the hotwire kit and 60# injectors and my car runs fine. i didnt drop any fuel pressure either.
