whats up with my dyno numbers? peak hp at 4600rpms

Didn't hear anything on the dyno run that would indicate going down cylinders from valve float or blowing out spark or anything.

What gear did you make the pulls in? How much timing does it have all in? It gets a bit fat past 4500 or so.

timing is locked at 22 deg.

i need to tune the carb a little further for sure, but i dont think it would make THAT big of a deal

If these aren't giving you problems now they will at higher boost levels.

When I had a turbo LT1 I liked the PSI CT1225ML springs though you may get by with some patriot extremes.


I would run a bit more cam with that compression ratio as well.

No, I don't think so either.

Have you checked on those flex sections in the pre-turbine exhaust to see how they are holding up? I have seen them fail and create a major cork in the system. Also, where and how are you measuring boost to be sure it isn't dropping off or spiking and then leveling out?

What gear did you dyno in again? It does make a big difference on a dynojet.
