Default Help with my rear mount setup

So, I'm in the process of getting my car built. Final setup will be:
408 iron block
-dragonslayer crank
-oliver billet rods
-diamond dished pistons
-stock 317 heads with patriot extreme dual springs
-Stock LS6 intake man
-Head studs
Rear mount turbo setup (started as STS but not many STS parts left)
-Turbo?
Clutch?
T56 transmission (supposedly built to 800hp, cryo gears, bronze forks and CF pads)
Moser 12 bolt with 3.73 gears 33spline axles
Fuel system
-Upgraded 60lbs -> 80lb injectors
-255lph t-rex inline pump
-255lph in tank walboro
-Stock lines/rails
-93 octane pump gas
Alky control meth injection system

Goals for the car:
600-650whp for daily driving. Crank up the boost for the track to around 800-900. I think one day I'd like to put down a 1000+ dyno run just for bragging rights. I want the car to be very streetable, it will spend most of its time there. I want it to be reliable, I'd like to not have to invest much if anything at all for the next several years.

So my questions are:
What turbo should I go with? Jose at forced inductions recommended either an S400, PT88 or GT91. The S400 is very tempting as it is the cheapest option and will support around 1150hp as well as probably spooling the fastest and having a divided scroll for a spool valve if desired. The PT88 is definitely common and been around for a long time, and costs about $250 more. The GT91 is probably more than I would need.

What clutch do I go with? I've looked and there are MANY companies that make clutches. I'd like an option that will not need replacing every year, one that is rebuildable and one that will take the tq that I throw at it. I'd also like it to not cost me an arm and a leg. Drivability is a concern, but with the way I drive I don't slip the clutch that much. My previous clutch was a spec stage 3 on my 93 bolt on camaro with ~340whp.

What should I do to the fuel system? I've read the thread where MightMouse describes how to install dual 255s in tank that will support the hp I need. I've also seen kits for sale that will accomplish the same thing (I believe it was a Lonnie's kit for around $1500). I believe the 80lbs injectors are probably big enough to support the system, but would I need to change out all the lines and the fuel rails? How much of the fuel system would I need to change?

The car has a speed density tune on the stock computer. It is a 2002 SS.

One more question. What hp level would you think this engine is good for? It is being built by a very reputable builder.

get rid of the t56, and the gears......
youll need to pull every trick to get those turbos to spool, so you better be an expert. Youll also need more injector....

I think thats the wrong turbo choices for you, personally.

The problem is you want a turbo to drive around the street at 600-650rwhp but to be able to turn it up to 1000rwhp your not going to find a turbo that does both very well. Maybe consider the ST/SX80 or S380 with 87mm turbine wheel for a street turbo and a bolting on a different turbo when you go for the big numbers.

1320 was right on. The rear mount can potentially be a terrible setup, especially with lag.

I would copy zombies setup as close as possible.

An auto would suit you much better.. If not, I would look into a blower if that is an option at this point.

That bottom end should handle the power you want without a problem.

Thanks for the responses. Do you guys really think the S400 will have a problem spooling up behind a 408?

I do have a really low compression ratio and will have a boost controller. My best guess is that to run the 600-650whp I would be on a low boost setting, then I could turn up the boost for 900-1000whp. I don't expect the turbo to spool by 2500rpm.

With a rear mount it will matter more on the rest of the setup than the turbo for spool time, within reason obviously.

zombies car runs 96 lb injectors....and on e85 its all done....I tried an 88 on his car....it ran a high 11......because it took 900 ft for it to make power. It went just as fast with a 76 as it has with the sx 80. 10.07 on the 76, and I went a 10.00 with the sx 80. It drives better with the sx 80.....due to other changes. You just dont have to work it as hard.

and I m pretty sure this is first hand advice......

Thanks for the info 1320. Do you know all about Zombie's setup? I've read about it several times, I've read the saga thread, but I don't know what his final configuration was. I remember seeing his car for sale on here several months ago. My car has stock manifolds, custom 2.5in replacement exhaust piping. On the cold side it has the STS pipe going up the driver's side then it opens up to 3" piping that goes to the FMIC, then 3" piping to the elbow that connects to the intake. The exhaust is wrapped From where it meets the manifolds to the turbo and the turbo has a blanket on it. The BOV is before the FMIC. WG is 44mm and points strait out the back of the car.

With the T66 BB turbo on it, it spooled up by about 3k-3500 depending on how much load was on it.

I'm going with the 80lb injectors because I'm going to be running pump 93 octane and I have the stock computer.

I'm sad that the spool valves are so expensive, it is cheaper to upgrade to a BB turbo than to buy the spool valve I think.

I think you should just plan on the spool valve.
