There is a list of track times in the manual transmission forum.....and it is the main reason I ditched my T56 for a 4L80e during my build. I love rowing the gears dont get me wrong, but all that work and maybe still run 11's wasnt something I wanted to chance (doing a relatively mild stock short block 550rwhp build).

Here is my old car.
LSX 427 with a KYTP 94mm Turbo build with A/W intercooler. You can see the A/W intercooler in the 2nd pic behind the front bumper cover. Josh was able to retain all the factory accesories in STOCK LOCATION with a 4in. down pipe.
Made 1450hp @ 22psi.

On a 100 degree day with 100% humidity going to a car cruise or car show without showing up with sweat rolling down your ***** and then be able to say it runs mid 9s with A/C and full weight........................................:nod :
MAKES IT MORE IMPRESSIVE!! And then when you want to roll the windows down and cut the A/C off and stab it yeppie you get the sounds....
Then roll the windows back up and turn the cold air on.
I like doing things other than the norm and harder than what other people always do.

some say leaving the a/c on is impressive
others think not cutting the car up to do it is impressive
heck i think actually driving the cars after you build them is plenty impressive
