looks to me like the exhaust flow is going in the outlet of the wastegate.

It's connected to the header and the DP?

What's the reason to go with a water/air IC rather than a air/air IC? Better for track use? able to get the charge colder quicker?

He seems to be right, both of them look to be on backwards. Exhaust push against the bottom of the valve, the valve opens, and dumps it out the side. The dump side go to the DP.

interesting build, that blue is cool. Looks so strange to see the sides of the engine bay cut out along the quarters with full size tires popping thru. I take it that with the 275's and power steering that this car was a light weight corner carver or mile car?

It really wasnt light enough I think it was like 3300lbs with me in it...me and a friend built it for street and drag racing but I ended up selling it before I got to fine tune it and see how it would do...we planned on just putting a cage in it and losing some weight but we ended up going haywire with the plasma cutter and I think it turned out pretty good. if I could go back now I'd change a few things but it was a good learning experience...

here is a pic of the problem they speak of in the attached pic not sure how to make it a pic and not an attachment. the left side (in the pic) is on correct exhaust gas pushing on the bottom of the valve and exiting out the side to the downpipe. The one on the right is pushing in the side and against the top of the valve and not letting it open.
