This made me laugh, in march of last year when i first put the new motor and turbo kit into my got, i must have carried around 200lbs worth of tools and fluids in my trunk for probably 4 or 5 months, lol.

I know that feeling, new build, you never know whats going to wrong, and my **** never once broke down, but when i was 2 hours away from home with a group of buddies, their **** broke down, who had the tools?? me, lol.

Keep up the good work bro. its looking better and better each time out!

Whats up with the John Force burn outs? My track doesn't allow burnouts passed the staging beam. Sounds like it's taking a while to spool, how much timing are you running while staging? You will be in the 5's soon keep it up.

lol, you are not the first to hate on me for that. on sundays they let anyone with $15 bucks run their buckets down the track, i'd say 90% are on street tires and the track prep is questionable most nights at best. i am on drag radials and anything i can do to get some rubber down i will. is it excessive, probably. is it retarded, probably. have i cut my best 60's since i started doing it, yes! until they tell me to stop i'll keep trying to lay down good rubber through the beams.

it's a big ole 1.32 ar t6 turbo, it definitely takes a minute to come on. i need to get my traction issue down so i can leave harder off the 2 step, the lag isn't really an issue except that i am having to come out so soft that it becomes an issue. if i could leave as hard as the converter would let me i think it'd spool pretty fast.

I wasn't hating at all just curious, but if you notice it helping I'd keep doing it. You'd be surprised what playing with the timing and afr can change the spool up time. There is a way to setup the timing tables with hp tuners so you stage with the idle timing tables and as soon as you leave the line it switches back to the main table.

3.73:1, thinking about eventually dropping to a 3.55 or possibly a 3.27 so I can make 1/4 mile passes. Right now I go through the traps just over 6k rpm in top gear.

Yeah that's a pretty deep gear in the turbo world with a short tire.

Would you go 3.27 or 3.55?

3.55 is too close to 3.73 to make a difference. It will make a difference but not enough in my mind to make a good 1/4 mile pass. I would go 3.27 to get you thru the 1/4 since you are already turning 6k thru the traps in the 1/8.

There are some guys here who are going down as far as 3.08 and zombiess is running a 2.73 gear.

went 5.85 @ 118 today, think the trans is trashed but she got me home (55 mile drive each way). going to try to pick up a glide with a brake this week and see what she'll do.

Did you play around with your timing or anything on your tune? Hard to tell but it sounded like it spooled up real nice.

This did you use the timing table I gave you from my car?

The glide will really help you leave on a lot more power.

If you want when you get the glide, I can set you up with a little tweak to that table to get more boost built so you can leave harder.

Nice runs for sure. Turn that puppy up!
