Default Question About Compression, Piston and Heads.

Ok so i ran across a deal on some Diamond -28 cc pistons. I plan on building a 408. I have the LQ9 already, Haven t torn it apart as of yet.
So my questions is. with a -28 cc head. With maybe a 62 cc head or something. Is it possible to get up to 9.5.1 compression? I know the spec sheet of there shows 9.1, But with the right head gasket and what not could i possibly get close to this? I have been playing around with some compression calculators. and looks like i can. But is there a down fall to running a 62 cc head on a procharged setup?

I prefer to see a larger chamber and less dish on the pistons, as it normally makes for a thicker piston ringland. Bob

Thanks as always for the quick response bob. So would that be the only reason? the pistons i have are the Diamond 11576 the -28cc, Any other advantages and disadvantages? Debating if i should just sell these pistions. And buy some other ones. As it looks the pistons with less dish are cheaper... so i should have any issues if i deiced to go that route.
