Sorry for no updates...The pass 7 months Ive been building a buddies Camaro and doin a lot of side work and house repairs but while doing all that Ive managed build a 99 Camaro with a stock 5.3 and gt45 turbo just to beat the streets to keep me happy in the race car dept. As far as the BMW I still have it and am ordering parts for it here and there. Got a custom QTP 9" for the e46...as far as the drivetrain Ive changed the build some...sold the 370 and gonna use the 5.3 and 4l80 out of the Camaro when the time comes to swap it over. Gonna use a pt91.5...maybe a forward facing setup to idk yet....things will start to happen soon.

Yes I know its been a long time with NO updates but Ive changed my mind like 20 times in the past year on what car I should build....and well Ive made my mind up and its the BMW! I started on the build this weekend by tearing the dash out and removing the heavy stuff.

front carpet 24lbs
rear carpet 22lbs
interior wiring 48lbs
HVAC housing 41lbs
front seats 74lbs each!!!!
sunroof 43lbs
and here is the stance of the car the way it will ride....

Safelite just left the after pulling the front and rear glass. I ordered a 10pt cage and drop cross member last week. Hopefully I'll be starting on the cage next week!

WOW, i'll get to this... almost a year later lol.

Sorry i never saw this.

In my last 2 of 3 cars i did this.

RX7 we peeled it up and left all that black residue on the floor boards and such.

Im almost positive that when we did the dry ice method, it did not and the floor was actually pretty clean afterward.
