Your project is coming along great! I am really interested in seeing what kind of numbers you put down, or if you run into the above problems. I know Magnacharger made a non-intercooled LS-based truck kit using the MP112, and I think it was good for an additional 65HP or so. Also, I have never seen a supercharged car with a supercharger so hot that you could not touch it at idle. Of course, I've never seen a homemade supercharger kit, either. Make sure you have some sort of bypass valve so you're not pumping air at idle.

The blower has an internal bypass valve.

I have installed 3 eaton blowers over the years that were part of kits without intercoolers. I'm not saying its the most efficient, but it works. If you've seen an eaton get so hot it sizzles, then something is wrong with it.

You'll want to step up the TB. Inlet restrictions dont work well with these blowers. Truck guys are seeing nice gains from switching the stock 78mm for a 90+

I really like this. I want(ed) to do a twin M90 kit on my old car but when my M112 came off my GTO, I used it instead.

I built a new tensioner for my maggie and am making a gauge indicated (not MAP) 13 psi. Car is running better than ever. And I no longer have any belt slip issues nor worry about a super heavy spring pressure killing off the other accesories.

Just installed a NW 90mm TB with remote IAC and spaced the blower up an additional 3/4". Heading to Speed Inc for a new tune soon. I'm hoping to be over 500 rwhp on my little 5.3

Awesome!!! I really like the finish on the intake and valve covers. Is that undercoating/bedliner or just some sort of a wrinkle finish.
