hmmm, well i made it to g force today with the car. found out the car has a 5.70" crank pulley or something really small. only made 5.5 psi with the 3.70" blower pulley. made 440rwhp and 418 ft-lbs. i dont know...really disappointed in the work the other shops did. guess i need to step up to the ATI dampner with a bigger crank pulley and 8 rib. thanks for all the input in the thread.

You could still try dropping down to a 3.50" or even a 3.40" 6-rib pulley to make a little more boost with minimal investment....

yeah, worried about belt slip with the smaller blower pulley. plus the car still has the original short block with 196,000 miles on it.

Wow, that is a small crank pulley. That's going to deliver lower boost pressure right there. When I converted to 8 rib, my crank pulley size went up, so I didn't have to go small on the blower pulley to get the boost I wanted. The upside is I ended up with a great amount of belt wrap while making even a little more boost than I had intended.
