Default Tuned the car last night!!!

well, went to East Side yesterday. we strapped it down and made a few WOT pulls.
After about 20 or so pulls we (i should say Kevin aka NOGO) got my tune about as good as can get.
I have to first start out by saying, the biggest issue im having is with boost. it seems to spike at 12 and fall to 9-10 so i hooked up the boost controller and it still did it. Cranked the gates and still nothing. it is because my springs are only 4 psi springs and the controler can only do so much. so i have to get some higher springs, so that is next on my list. but as for tuning, that spike made it hard for kevin to tune, but he kept in nice and smooth around that spike. Thanks kevin!
As for power it didnt make all that much more then last year with hp but TQ was 80 ft lbs higher.
I was about 60-80 rwhp higher threw the hole rpm range! it was a much faster spool, no spikes in hp like before and tq was nice.
as for street driving, it felt UNREAL!!!! just an instant pull, almost no lag! it felt great.
It made almost 600 rwhp and 600 rwtq with a spike and fall to 9 psi, this spike happend around 4500-5000 so thats where my hp leavles out a bit, but it is still much better then befor.
once i get the new springs and crank it to 13-15 psi, im sure power will be good.
Thanks alot esp and nogo, you did me up a stong motor! Hope she hold
oh yhea, that spike is where it stops climbing and leavles off with the 9 psi it doesnt fall, my hp isnt at its peek with the 12 psi it just seems to leavle out higher then befor so if the boost stays at 12 i can see the car climbing to 630 or more!!!!

Congrats Noyzee! From our experience, we can only ever get about double whatever the WG spring is rated. i.e. 4lb spring = max of 8lbs boost STEADY. Throw some 7 or 9lb'ers in there and turn it up!

Thanks, i just cant find out where to get the spring. Maybe you can help i have aplied tech waist gates.
the 4 psi springs would = 8 psi total in my car, and it seems with the nx boost cont i can only muster up a steady 9-10 psi. if i could get it to stay at 12 i think 630 is is reality, i hope.
where can i get springs for those? any clue what th 8 psi spring #'s are? Thanks.

You should be able to get the springs from ATR. We are an ATR Dealer if you need help.

Regarding the website, for some reason the email notification isn't working right now. They are working on the entire system as we speak. However, you should have been activated automatically even though you didn't get an email.

I think we are goign to need plenty of Mods. Thanks for the offer, I'm going through all of them now. Any preference on a section beside FI? That seems to be what everyone wants.

maybe you can pm me a price on the springs you think would work for 12-15 psi? Let me know, maybe like 2-6 psi springs or 2 8 psi? thanks alot.
as for mod, i didnt look threw to much, but FI would work or eastern section, It doesnt make a differance, im prety formilar with most anything about the cars besides tuning. other small week spots are nitros and fuel injectors, i know fuel systems to. let me know.

Max power was right befor the boost fell to 9 psi that was around 5,000-5300 or so. i dont have the graph infront of me right now.
But it was 60-80 hp higher threw the hole rpm range till then over last years peak, so with a little boost work, it should do well.
Hope it works out for you.
