Vortech 9# numbers?

Just wondering what kind of rwhp numbers you guys with the Vortech 9# aftercooled blowers are getting on pretty much stock engines with only fuel injectors, fuel pump and headers?

with the stock pulley most are around 450-480 range. If you are willing to gamble with smaller pullies, then 620-650 range.

450-480 is a perfect range for what my buddy has in mind. So I assume it's easy to change the pulley on the Vortech... well, AS easy as with the ATI?

easier since the head unit sits on top of the engine...

That's def a bonus. What's the install time approx on the Vortech with aftercooler? I hear approx 20hrs or so, compared to 8-10hrs for the ATI?

I'd say 2 full days of labor for an experienced mechanic. Up to a week for someone who's never touched one of these kits before.

Also If you change the pulley size, be sure to retune it or it will be too lean up top.

Stock: internals, MAF, exhaust manifolds. Pretty much a stock SS with the Vortech kit.

!muffler (replaced with 2 pieces of straight pipe in a D shape) and addition of the prototype Spectacle Solutions air lid. Without the lid it laid down 446 RWHP.
