I ran my 6765 with very similar damage for 3 months without knowing it. I must have knocked something down into the housing during one of my trans removals. I took everything off and even banged the housing on my bench. Whatever it was must have been really stuck. I only took the turbine housing off the turbo to swap it to a .81 a/r.

W. Kinzers turbos have fin damage viewable from the exterior of the car and those two vettes run 180+ mph still.

id have it rebuilt myself, but im betting fin damage is more minimal of an impact than most think. it just spins a higher rpm to achieve the same boost level. balance is what i would be worried about.
