$3,500..Where Can I go?
After some thought and consideration I'm going to sell my car (In Sig) and start fresh with a higher mileage car that isn't in as good of shape. Mainly for economical and common sense reasons..cheaper car= no car payment=more mods= more go-fast parts.
So, my question is, how far into the F/I world can I get with $3,500 to spend on a setup? I know it won't be very far, but I'm hoping I can make it work. I have a preference of a turbo setup, but I am open to the idea of S/C's and the like. Used parts (I.e. Blowers and Turbo's) I can live with. Any ideas?

Really depends on your fabrication skills. I am going to probably put togather my whole turbo 5.3/4l80e driveline for 3500-4000. But this is my third FI build, and I have the tools to fab all my own parts. If you have a decent mig welder and some patients you can probably build something for your budget. As long as you plan out the whole thing and stick to the plan. Worst thing you am do when working on a budget is just buy random parts cause someone says there good. I wasted allot of money on my first build that way. Had a pile of great parts but they didn't work well togather for the goals I had for the build. May not be pretty but will get the job done! Don't let the haters discourage you! Good luck!!

I'm working on a setup to use an eaton m112 roots blower that would be less than $2000, but the mods keep pulling my threads down because I'm not a sponsor and they say I'm advertising :/

You can build a turbo kit for that much if you are very disciplined at researching and buying parts and sticking to a plan. (truck manifolds, cheap turbo such as TC76/8, Ebay intercooler, Tial 38)
but, if you cant afford the car you have and are buying a rougher one you should prob just save your money as you will end up upgrading everything and spending lots of $.
