Rails are cheap, why not replace them?

They ARE NOT the early year ones with the return on them. They are 2000 rails with a 6an adapter fitting on them, about a foot of 6an hose to the regulator. From the pumps to regulator is 8an on my car, 6an return. We run them at 95lbs pressure in boost since we are running 80lb injectors.

Everybody who claims you need rails at lower power hasn't done it, we've done this on several cars making north of 800 without a problem on e85 which requires a lot more fuel than pump/race gas.

i agree why spend money if you dont need to, i got rid of professional products aftermarket rails. i would like to keep the engine beauty cover on my car, as it has been professional painted the way i wanted it. the cover has plastic clips that clip on the the rail... so aftermarket rails may cause me to lose it. im will be running a rectangle cnc ported ls3 heads forged iron 408 with a tc 78 turbo. going for 15 to 20 psi, looking for 700-800 rwhp. id like to keep the factory rail if at all possible. will be running QT premium 93 octane. no e-85 as there are only 3 local stations with in a 50 mile radius.

Qt gas here no way! Not in my cars or lawn mower or anything. Qt diesel ok.

As skinnie said the rails will support a lot of powwer.
The biggest issue is the stock regulator position IMHO
On my ls1 i removed the dampner on the center of the rail and made a new piece that fits there with the snap ring, that had a female npt. I ran it to the fenderwell and mounted my regulator there. you also have to rework the "T" at the back of the car where it fed the stock regulator. I then used the vent line for the new return.
