I need a vendor to sell me an STS turbo kit
I've called at least 2 vendors on STS' web sight. Do any of LS1techs vendors sell the complete kits? I have injectors and HP Tuners, thought about it a lot and really want to go rear mount turbo.
Please PM me, I want the intercooler too. My time frame is this week.

Yea, I've been striking out. I must keep my AC and want plug and play. I remember him saying they had a kit that kept AC but I couldn't find it on his web site. I saw to twin kit but 10k is out of what I'm willing to spend.

I followed that link, am I just stupid? Are you talking about your ultimate F-body kit? Can I have a link that I can understand? I don't get the buy in thing. Should I call, help me out here.
I keep hearing STS are no good, but when I search them it seems the owners are happy. They seem to make good power, I'm open to hear the truth though. Guys that don't own them say there's terrible lag, guys that own them say that's not the case. I don't know what to believe anymore.
I want a bolt on kit that I can street tune with HP and without hacking up my car. If I install the STS intercooler I probably wasn't going to cut my bumper and see if it detonated.

How old are those comments/posts? If you look at the dates most of the more recent posts are problems with the scavenge oil pump taking a **** and killing the turbo in the process. They aren't very efficient and just generally have a decent amount of problems unless you modify a lot. There are better options out there. There are guys who have made them work though.....

If you spend much time tuning cars that come in for a tune, you find that with almost ever STS Turbo kit, you're in for a very long day. One problem after another, and the STS scavenge oil pump is a huge trouble spot. Bob

I ran an STS kit for 4+ years on my GTO. Got my heavy pig of a car to 10.4 in the 1/4. I never had an issue with the stock STS scavenge pump but I did have issues with other ones I tried. The TurboWerx pump seems to be the best. For people without much time or mechanical ability, the STS setup is adequate. I would go front mount if you can though.

It just seems like over the years of looking thru build threads and watching setups "evolve" that everyone who goes rear mount (STS) ends up going front mount in the end because they want more power, and with a rear mount turbo, this can be hard to accomplish. Just seems silly to add all that piping and wiring when we have many options for front mount kits now.

I dont know....I always go front mount when it makes sense. But when I compare ease of working on, and cost....the rear mount makes a lot of sense for a lot of people with 4 th gens.
Not everyone is looking at 600+ hp. Not everyone wants to swap a k member also. A rear mount is easy, affordable and can make (sts 425 to others 600 hp) .
