Waiting on adjustable control arms to center tire in wheel well. 28" tire just wouldnt fit right with my bmr non adjustables. Leaving for vacation Friday but when I get back it's off to the track!!!!!

 

your first few visits to the track youll prob be just dialing it in for a while.

 

Finnally found time to get the 28" tires mounted and do some bfh to get them to not rub! Almost track ready!

And I am dropping my Camaro off at chads next week for I'm to finish it up, and Dave is going to tune it while it's out there.

 

If I go it would be just to watch. My plates are expired, starter has gone out on car and it has some vibration at 80mph fml. I ordered new high tq starter and hawk front brake pads today. So once those are here I can get safety and emissions. I'm going to double check pinion angle tonight hope that's the problem. I can't wait to just enjoy the car for a while.

 

sick build man! was thinking about doing a d1sc on my 383 but budget doesnt allow for it so going to have to wait a few years!

Thanks all for the complements! Here is a short vid of my first outing learned a few things. Need to get line lock and need to fix shift light lol. Still getting used to the feeling of slicks at 130 and 15psi so my Eyes were definitely on the road and not the tach. New day time video up soon with some racing.

Depends what you want to do with the car. How much hp what transmission and what size tire. I have 3.89 gears

Looking good! I might have to make the trip south to see your car and maybe do some runs. I've ran into a 2011 ZO6 up here pushing close to 580hp to the wheels, I ran him two times from a 30mph roll and won. I pulled like crazy up to 130-135 and then the car shifted into 4th. Running 370 gears.

 

Most definitely! Ive just got shiftlight to fix and add line lock left! Then work on launching the car. I still might have to buy front drag shocks but I'm really hoping I can get it to hook with just the rear drag shocks that are on now.

 

389 is a great gear choice for the car. not sure what the static comes out to be with the 28's. seems like it will do some good 60's. sounds mean too. have you adjusted the pinion angle yet on the vibe?

 

The car is set at -2 right now the. Vibration ended up being the driveshaft being to short Speedinc is sending me a replacment! have my stock one back on for now.
