Did not like the angle of the turbo nor how high it sat so my bud redid that portion.

Much better

You can run open loop speed density (no O2's) or closed loop speed density (with O2's) it's just a preference. Closed loop is supposed to stabilize your Air/Fuel ratio @ 14.7 while cruising and at idle. My buddy added his O2's back to his turbo truck because he was having idling issues and they seemed to help but I think there may have been somthing else going on as well.

I am back on it bro, I swear. Just picked up an '08 Viper so it's been all consuming. I'll be in the barn tomorrow. You know I've been following your awesome progress though.

Any progress worth mentioning? My little brother is looking at a 70 LeMans coupe with a 70 chevelle front end and doors located in northern california right now. Luckily(or unfortunately if they just slammed it in) its got a 2002 LR4 4.8/4L60e from a silverado swapped into it and you're the only guy I've found doing this type turbo swap into a LeMans.

As bad as I don't want to see that. I am curious why he's looking at it. And what it looks like. 70 lemans vs Chevelle are completely different. The body lines on the shell wouldn't match the Chevelle doors or fenders. Not to mention the bumper would give away it's a clone.

That does not sound like an attractive mix to be honest. I am a little partial to the 68-69 Lemans myself. Feel free to post a pic in my thread while you are at it. Progress has been slow because I have car ADD and am presently working on a '71 Chevelle with an LY6/4l80e combo and ZL1 supercharger. Also grabbed a '70 Skylark as well...someone help me...lol

I simply need to put washers on my flywheel bolts to adjust the spacing and get the car tuned. I don't sell my cars so it's out in the barn awaiting more attention.

No pictures but heres a link to a video the guy that put the car together posted
My brother and I are of the "go fast now, aesthetics later" school of thought, he's actually thinking about keeping the chevelle doors and front end on it and badging it up as a CheMans which I think would be hilarious or calling it the Mutt (silverado engine, chevelle front end. LeMans main body).
Nice man, that Buick looks gorgeous. Glad to see you're keeping your hands busy.

So me and my brother bought that 1970 chevelle/lemans the other day. Is anyone aware of how difficult it would be to fit the front clip from a 68 LeMans onto the 70?

Trying to get this man in the barn so we can progress...spaced the convertor because the bolts were bottomed out but still loose which was allowing the convertor to slide around in the flex plate holes and make a clanking noise. After shimming it noise is still there so we're pulling the tranny...fun fun fun headed our way.
