Default 2002 Z28 LS3 91mm build

update: post#286 03/06/12
Started the fab work today. Snapped a few pictures. I am having a friend do all the fab work. Details on the build:
-Forged LS3 by Schwanke 9:5:1
-Futral motorsports cam
-Holley modular intake 102mm
-GMPP CNC L92 heads
-Turbonetics Y2K 91MM
-Pro-charger open race valve
-Turbonetics wastegate
-FM intercooler
-E85 fuel system (2) A1000 pumps
-TH400 with a Yank converter

Pictures as I go along.

Cut the flanges off the stock manifolds and put v-band clamps on them. This way I didnt have to re-locate the alternator. Turned out great.

Got the 4" downpipe to fit without touching anything with a UMI k-member.

That car moved pretty good on the bottle, should be bad on boost.

Care to share cam specs?

SICK ride! Loved it while you were on the bottle (weird because I don't like bottle cars). Good luck!

Glad to see you going with a turbo. You will love not filling bottles anymore.

At this point im just trying to get everything done to get the car running for Tx. Honestly at tx2k ill probably be running on about 800-900hp max. I do have something in mind that will keep temps cool but i doubt it will be on the car for the tx trip.

Moving right along with your build, keep up the good work. Your engine bay looks very clean.

Wow nice looking project & good luck on going from the bottle to snail.

It is also the 1st time I've seen a Holley Modular EFI intake used.

Where in the hell are you going to mount the twin A1000's?

Nice build. I'm going to be following this one. I only did the bottle for one season and I was tried of getting the mother filled all the time....
