We built our own on an RX7 we did but went right over the manifold. We wrapped heat shielding around the wire and then solid wire around that to make them stiff so they wouldn't lay on the manifold. Worked well.

there is a ring in there keeping it from working. put something dull on your steel cutter and snap that ring in two and you can use them.

I have mine in the stock location with stock wires. heat boot on the manifold and heat wrap on the manifold and all is good.

Hey, I found some heat shield wrap for $20. You cut to size and one side is sticky. I cut them and wrapped where the wire was touching and used a zip tie. We will see how it holds up.

Going to order a set of wires and have couple of Q's:
Is this the right set? http://www.ws6project.com/user_stor/...ctor-wire-set/
MSD 32819 / 32813

Also, my current wires have some aluminium-like shield around them, will the MSD's be OK without that shield with all the heat there is?

Could anyone clarify that, please?
