I have dual Derale 16925 pushers on my turbo 5.3 86 trans am with a front mount. Havn't fired the car up yet with the fans hooked up, but I will tell you that during my testing of these fans, they BLOW. And I mean that in a good way! The amount of air they push through the radiator is amazing. When running a pusher setup, overkill is ok. It's much harder to fight the air pressure coming toward the front of the car and push air through the radiator, than it is to pull it through with the flow of air already present. These fans are made in USA with Bosch motors and they are very quiet for the amount of air they move. I love them so far and have no doubt they'll cool the car perfectly.
And I'm using all custom wiring, so I made my own heavy gauge fan harness. Not sure how stock wiring would hold up but it's easy enough to run a new heavy gauge positive wire from the starter and then just use the relay kits that come with the fans. Good luck! If you go with these, I have no doubt you'll love em.

I'm running 2 of the Derale pushers 10.75 (or 11.75" cant remember) H.O. fans. Had them wired using the stock relays and they blew the maxi 40A fuse twice when I drove my car out of town & got into traffic. I wired them on separate relays & 2 25A fuses and no more issues when driving in heavy traffic & Louisiana heat. The car never over heated with the fans running, they just pull a lot of juice.

Oh yeah, the fans are too big to fit on the "Griffin" radiator BTW, they do fit on the condenser though, I had to notch out the hood latch support and the bottom of the radiator support a little. If and when I ditch the condenser I think I will make a shroud out of aluminum to mount them & channel the air through the radiator, they work very well.

yea cuz i have my mind set on running these now, no doubt! if truly couldn't fit them, i'd run 1 and then use a smaller diameter fan as the secondary. but i'm gonna start off with 2 and see. they wont be mounted side by side but rather diagonal from each other to pass air over the most tubes possible.

As long as we're on the topic of Derale and cooling, what do you all think of this Derale trans cooler........

yea, i figure it will still be an overkill setup plus still covering a massive amount of finned area. also, i'm using a slightly different griffin than the norm after another member posted up some part #'s for the same dimensions but larger tubes so with my meziere street pump and these fans, i'm hopeful i Never have any cooling issues!
thanks again for all the great info!
