Yea, we pride ourselves on doing the impossible. The graph was actually Uncorrected. STD was 706rwhp, and SAE was something like 694ish (711 sounded better). To be honest, our dyno is CRAZY conservative for some reason. It's the newest WinPep7 software, and ANYBODY that's ever had their car on our dyno would tell you the same. For example, my car with the all of the same mods (less the turbo), dyno'd 402rwhp on Automotion's Mustang Dyno. Then I drove it straight to my shop and put it on our Dynojet for a comparison, where it made 374rwhp STD.

Good, because this week it's getting 80lb injectors and E85 (160lb'ers on stand-by). Oh yea....and more boost.

I was wondering where my old formula went after Nineball! Where is it now??

Getting close. A little over 70% duty cycle without the methanol, and about 60% with methanol. The 1:1 regulator is helping out quite a bit too.

Lmao, I'm still trying to understand them too!! But I think it would probably be the same turbo I'm using. A CT43, part #143801. But I can verify that tomorrow.

Yes, and thank you!! Love the username. My actual license plate used to be "VIPR KLR".

Default MAF tune

Rob, I see you're running a MAF tune? What's your opinion on it and are going to use it as far as you can?

All I can say is props on putting together something so budget and getting a crazy number out of it!

Also, want to say congrats on getting back in the performance world with this vette and a new shop. I remember your Turbo Buick days. It made me buy a turbo regal hence my screenname because I had an 1987 silver T-Type.

What ever happened to the car?

Well I am the one who actually put it together with the then owner InvizibleZ and he ended up selling it to Tony/Nineball etc... But don't know where it ended up now.

The pictures show 2 lines on the turbo center section and what looks like an electric pump on the other side of the car from the turbo. I am guessing a stand alone cooling system.

I'm also wondering if it is the 8079. What size is the V-Band exit flange? Would you have done anything differently?

Exactly how much cheaper are you talking about? I've been considering running this turbo for all these very reasons on my rearmount.

When I get a c5 I'm buying the kit, I've always wanted a simple rear mount setup on a vette. Can't wait to see the intercooler part.

Sorry for not responding sooner. Been burning the candle at both ends for literally months now. Just got home from work (2am), and admittedly, I'm too tired to reply to all of the posts and PM's right now. Plus, it would probably start to sound like jibberish by the 3rd or 4th reply. But please be patient and I will get back to everyone by this weekend.

One tiny update...80lb injectors are in, so is the E85, and it idles and rev's beautifully. Newly designed exhaust tips are finished and on the car as well. I'll post pics to the site this weekend also.

Thanks for all the feedback and compliments! Hope everyone has a great weekend!

From the looks of the pics there is room for another on in there! Get some quick spool valves installed, some oval piping like LMR did, get the motor forged and go for the mile.

Default Unleashed Performance - 810RWHP, Stock Engine, Oil-less Rear Mount, and E85

As usual lately, only have a few minutes to post. But had to share the newest info on our '99 C5. Changed over to E85 and 80lb injectors last week. Also swapped out the torquer cam for a custom comp cam designed for rear mounts turbos.

This is still the factory STOCK 114k mile engine with a cam, valve springs, pushrods, LS2 chain, and melling oil pump. The heads have never been off the car. Stock TB, 85mm MAF on the rear, LS6 intake, stock head bolts, stock rod bolts, etc.

I believe this might be a new record??

Here's a link to the earlier thread with all the details up to the point of the cam swap and changeover to E85.
https://ls1tech.com/forums/forced-in...p-711rwhp.html

The dyno graph can be found on our website under the Unleashed Project Car page. We also have a video of this dyno run which I will add to the website later this evening.

How did you get those 80's to make that power on E85? They have to be @100% dc and or you have a very high base pressure and damn good pump!

My 80's seem to be done around 700 wheel. Thats with a 60psi base and two walbro 400's at 17.5V, 8an feed.

Any case great job!!
