Have you put it on the dyno with the air filter in place, or was it removed? Just curious how much of a restriction the filter actually is at over 800whp.

Another question I have is what A/R is the exhaust housing that you used?

I would like to know the A/R as well. I am looking at the 76mm Comp Oilless and am told .81 is good for rear mount. Others say it will choke on top end and I need .96. Please share with us what you used!

Do at least .96. Their triple ball bearing spools super fast. If there is one thing you ever listen to make it be this, get a .96 or larger. I run a 1.32 and I don't know what lag is on my comp 80/79

You suggest .96 on a rear mount?

Yes even larger. These turbos should not be Compared to normal journal bearing turbos. You would be surprised how quick they spool.

We have never even tried running the car without an air filter. It has always had a K&N cone filter in place. But now you've got me curious about trying it on the dyno soon.

Regarding the A/R of the turbo, we are using the .96 housing. I chose this because of the car being an M6, thinking it would help it spool faster. But as several people have already mentioned in this thread, the Comp oil-less turbo spools much quicker than a journal bearing turbo. So I'm also curious how a larger exhaust housing would work. But seeing as how we just made 840whp tonight, I doubt I'll be changing it anytime soon.

Rob, how did you run your coolant lines to get flow through the turbo? Awesome setup! I love my Comps but I think I have too much turbo and not enough motor now. Also I noticed on the oil-less, when you first get them they are super tight. How long did it take to loosen yours up?

I run a comp water cooled turbo. The coolant lines are easy. I just went from the from steam vent that go to the radiator. Redirected it to the turbo then from turbo to radiator. I just used barb fittings and hose clamps. No issues at all about 4,000 miles.

Want to do a C6? My only concern is the need for water cooling. What was you solution for that? A stand alone setup or lines from the front of the car?

Being at full boost at 3800rpm, shouldn't the torque around 4000-4500rpm be very near peak, not over 200tq down? Good track numbers either way, just wondering how the tq at 4000-4500 is that low for full boost so early.
