If you use an LS1 intake, Id just use the stock LS1 crossover as its already all tied together. If you have an LS6 intake I'd go this route to avoid having to trim all the fins on the bottom of the LS6 intake to make the LS1 crossover fit. And yes the blue silicone hose off the LS6 crossover Tee's with the from LS6 crossover and goes to the bottom small port on the radiator.

And seeing as how all intakes allow for the steam blockoff's and do not require moving your oil pressure sender, then I would imagine this mod would work on pretty much anything

it may not matter but i wonder if this setup cools any better than the stock 98-00 setup? For some reason i feel like it may but if its anything worthwhile, idk

woulld be nice to run it with a clear hose just to see if the coolant does actually flow out of the heads.

The 98-00 stock 4 post crossover will work, but much more notching is required on the bottom of the LS6 intake manifold. That is one of the differences between the LS1 and LS6 intake is the LS6 intake has a lower floor for more plenum volume.

Just by using my hand I can feel coolant moving through the hose of the rear LS6 crossover....I happen to have clear hose at home so I'll try and insert a piece now that I have a metal tee fitting and see if I can see coolant circulate and let you know.

No need. It would be impossible for coolant not to get pumped through. Same as any cooling system.

Most well designed systems have ports to ensure no air pockets can be created. These ports are for that same reason. Although losing the rears was a bad idea

yeah i get that both ways work. im just curious if your solution is more efficient or provides better venting than the 98-00 crossover because the 2 streams arent meeting again until right before the radiator. The other part of the question is, if it does cool any better, is it anything worthwhile? Im not really expecting an answer here, its more just a curiosity thing.

99% of the time it will make no difference. It will only be under extreme conditions it will show its worth.
If the engine is never hot enough for steam to be created, if the head gaskets seal 100%, then the vent ports will make no difference.

When possible air/steam sources can be introduced into the waterways, then it will make a difference.
