Default Help choosing head gasket...
Im working on a 402 and want to get ready for boost... C.R is on the 10:5 range
what would be the best GM head gasket to go with my 317s to lower the comp a bit?? And how much bore head gasket can i go with for my 4'' bore block????? Thanks in advance

Usually the best choice for being boosted is the LS9. Part # 12622033 I don't know how it affects compression though

yes ive seen alot of LS9 users but my block having a 4'' bore can i use those being 4.100'' bore?? will it affect it in any way ?????? Thanks

They work fine on mine with a 4" bore. Search a little, it's been said they can be used
