Im a little lost in the reason. I would think you do a sawp for reduced cost, and increase in power? That engine cost more to build, and will have less power at the same boost level in a LS1. Nice work, maybe he did it for the shock, and awe. Nice work.

Think if you had that 88 on a real motor, aka any ls platform and at 25lbs, what it would put out...hell of a lot more than only 600hp and thats probably at what, 7000rpms?
Talk about lag city.... here we come!
It would sound like too. Imagine hearing that thing take off at a light, I could care less it just whooped my *** (with all that lag, it may not), Id be laughing the next 2 miles down the road after hearing an fbody sound like a toy remote control car. Its like cutting off the ***** of the beast IMO.
And for real, tired of plug changes? How often does that happen? Is the car not tuned and burning plugs like a ****? If you are a true muscle car junky, you wouldnt care!
Wonder how much weight was just added and cutting down the cubes by more than half...no replacement for displacement IMO.
At least its a clean install. Looks legit.

The guy was lying about what his car had...That's all.

Being that it was an lt1 car, he probably got tired of changing the optispark distributor, not the plugs themselves. That's the reason I swapped an ls1 into my lt1 car in years past-and never looked back.
