My local speed shop has the 3/8 pipe aluminum weld in bungs in stock. I have always just picked them up from them.

Just pulled the motor and trans back out of the car. Well I guess pulled the car off the engine, trans and front suspension. Putting the motor back on the stand and the trans under the bench for awhile.

Gonna start working on rewiring the car and some weight reduction while I am at it. Then painting the engine bay again.

Still need to buy a torque converter, oil pan baffle, BMR alternator mount and then some hoses and fittings to finish up pluming the car.

Work picked up really good the last 3 weeks and now this week it is dead again. Plus I haven't had much of any side work to help fund this thing. Really not sure how soon I will get this thing back together.

I have been busy this week although I don't have much to show for it. I removed the Engine and trans again

Then I started working on relocating the Fuse blocks into the car. What fun that was cutting apart harnesses

Then I made me HVAC delete plate

Then I started working on relocating the line lock and Proportioning valve to the back of the shock tower to clean up the engine bay.

So far I have removed 65 pounds worth of things that are not going back in the car. I have a few more items to remove that I know will drop another 10 pounds. Then I am going to work on loosing some other weight. Looking to drop at least 100 total.

Also I 1fastbird has talked me into making a second aluminum exhaust that is dumped up from for track use.

Well Things should start moving along here soon. I have been busy working on relocating the fuse blocks and cleaning up the harnesses. I will be bringing the car home from my work in the next week or so so I can repaint the engine bay.

I did sell my 80# injectors today to make room for a set of Bosch 127# high z injectors from FIC should be enough injector for me to run E85. New injectors will be getting ordered Monday.

I will also be ordering a Torque converter on Monday as well.

Well I ordered my injectors, Converter, AN fittings and lines, alternator bracket, and some other goodies.

I haven't done much other work on the car lately as I was gone over the weekend and I have been working about 18-20 hours a day this week doing a side job but I hope to really get cracking on this in the next week and be up and running by the end of May

Looking good man! That's the best time to do the brake lines, when the motor is out. I had a hard time doing with the motor in.

Getting really anxious to see your dyno results! Besides the short block differences, I want to do a build really similar to yours. S88, E85, TH400.

Well last week was crazy and I didn't get to work on the car much then but I did order a lot of parts and have most of them show up. -12 hoses and fitting for my cooling system, Grant steering wheel and quick release hub, BMR alternator mount, and FIC 127# injectors all showed up. I am still waiting on my Improved performance oil pan baffle, and Yank converter.

I did stick the dash back in the car and brought it home from my work and pulled the front end off the car so I can work on some weight reduction and repaint the engine bay.

If all goes well I think I am about 3 weeks away from hearing it run. I am getting excited.

Well my Improved racing oil pan baffle showed up today. So I installed that and got the bottum of the motor all put back together. I also installed the BMR alternator mount and picked up a belt for it. Then later at home I worked on some more weight reduction and prepping the engine bay for paint. I have so far removed 15lbs of metal from up front. I am nearing 90-95 lbs of weight reduction.

I am hoping to have the engine bay prepped and in paint by Saturday.
