Gotta make this decision by the end of the weekend so i dont tear my hair out...build is gonna be either a 370 or 408, Pro-Flo intake, turbo 400 trans..all goin in my 69 Pro street. Just need to decide weather to do twin 6265's which will be alot more money or do a single Pt88 and get close power with either.. I dont have any record setting goals here. I can get the 88 at a good cost just worried about the lag when i do run the car at the track... thoughts?? This will be a ongoing project so budget isnt a huge issue..

I think that the 2 6265's will outperform the PT88 and willl be way easier to package. Twins usually look better in the engine compartment as well.

I vote twins and a 4L80e. This way you can cruise the car and still have fun! If you need a guy to build a 4L80e, give me a call.

FWIW, I imagine lag wouldn't be too bad with the 88mm and either engine.

I vote twins on that car. Up and forward v banded truck manifolds straight into the turbines with plenty of room for downpipes. Actually, do the 408 and get the 6765's with v band turbine inlets. Clean packaging and mega power!

Dan ran a pt88 on a 347 without issues spooling it FWIW.

Not shooting for the stars but dont wanna have much lag since the car is street legal.... Frank (boostedone) has sparked me to twins... just love the clean look... If i pull a low 9 out of it i will be happy but im not pressing for it but dont wanna have the setup thats missing that one piece.....that being said im heading down to Franks tomorrow to bs alittle..lol
