It looks brighter in person. It matches the outside paint of the car with the same brightness. I just used spray paint. 2 coats primer, 3 coats Dupli-Color Artic White paint, and two coats clear. Here is a picture that looks a little brighter...
Finally back at it! I put my deposit down on the Huron Speed Truck Manifold Kit. The group purchase deal was too good to pass up. Here are some other new updates...
Bottom end ready to go.
I also picked up a turbo k-member even though I don't need one with the Huron Speed kit. It's always nice to free up some space.
Man I forgot about this build, what turbo were you going with.
Yea it's been a while. I am finally able to start back up on the build. I actually just ordered the new Billet Turbonetics 7675 .96a/r today. They should be shipping it out in a few weeks.
It's been forever, but here is how the car sits right now. The car was put on hold for a while due to starting a new job, moving, and getting married. There will be more updates in the near future.
I found this on my phone from when the motor was going in the car. If anyone missed it earlier, it is a 370 with a TU2 cam, Diamond 16cc pistons, Compstar rods, and stock crank. I am running 317 heads that were checked over and assembled with BTR dual springs and Manley SS valves.

Reason: error
I started on the fuel system. Here is the Y block that is going to feed the back of my rails.
I ran into a problem with the alternator relocation being very close to the fuel rails. I solved the problem by running a 90 off the rail and notching some of the plastic cover on the back of the alternator.
Here you can see where the plastic cover was notched.
