The reason for the delay in start up was a faulty ignition switch, it was a new switch not sure what happened to it but the car was acting very weird some circuits had power some did not took a while to chase it down!

I have a bunch of little things to tie up on the car but reaching the milestone of it running really gets me motivated! I am ready to turn this thing loose and see what it will do! Hope to get the cooling system/core support mods all finished up this coming weekend. AES did a great job on my shortblock it sounds great!! Thanks again Fraser!!

I am still trying to decide on which blower to go with F2 or F1X or F1R I had an F1R on the car but it was a 5.00:1 so I sold it thinking I would give the F1X a try but with 410" I think the F2 may be a better fit I am looking for 4.70's in a 3200lb car...Any suggestions?

I believe I heard over on the bullet the f1x head unit msrp is like $4600. I'm running the f2 on a 555 bbc and I have no complaints.

I am going to hold out and go for the F1X just waiting on the Feds to send me my refund! I want to be X275 legal but I am also going to buy an F2 when I find a deal on one and try it out where I can, there are a few races around here where I can run the F2.

It has been a while since I have updated this, I took a job (after being off of work for over a year) that required me to move across the state so progress ground to a halt while we searched for a new home to buy and move into. Found a house that had a nice shop that would hold all my equipment and we are now moved in. Still working on ironing out the shop and getting it set back up.

Decided to take the plunge and swap to a turbo set up sold the F1R an transplant kit I will be building a truck manifold based 88mm turbo set up running a X275 legal IRT built turbo. I Have bought all the parts to build the hot side just waiting on my electrician to get the 220v wiring finished in my new shop so I can run my tig then it will be on! I really wanted to make LS Fest with the car but looks like that is not going to happen. Hope to post some pics soon as I start on the manifold kit.

Don't know yet still finishing up my hot side and installing the new Holley Dominator EFI. I will post updates as soon as I get it running again. I also have a BW S500 SX4 88mm going to try them both out.

I am glad I put the brakes on the F1X as the rule changes would have screwed me. I think the turbo will be easier to get dialed in and should have the ***** to go deep in the 4's which is what I am after.

Quick update I finally received my 88mm turbo today from CRT and all I can say is what a badass turbo for a great price! Can't wait to get it fired up and see how it performs. Chris at CRT has been a great help so far in getting me down the right path with the change to turbo. I will post pics later tonight.

Is the billet an upgrade or standard on the 88/115?
