Default turbo drain hose angle

I've done multiple searches and I can't find a decent answer. My turbo hangs kinda low and im worried about the angle of the drain hose. The turbo is clocked so the drain is at 6 o'clock, there is a 90° fitting with a -10 line going into the front of the oil pan. The line does go downward, but its only like a inch to inch and a half drop. Will this be ok? I rather not mess with a oil pump. Thanks

Thats about how mine is set up. I probably have more like 2-3 inches of drop in the line though. There was some oil on the bottom of the turbo which I'm guessing is because the 90* drain fitting is not allowing it to drain quick enough. I'm going to try a 45* fitting and see if the oil dissapears. It's barely anything and I'm sure it would be fine anyways, but I have the room so I'll try the 45. Heres a pic.

And the drop

Im afraid a 45° fitting will cause to much of a bend on the line and make it go upwards as it enters the oil pan. I could try and clock the turbo slightly to get a better angle.

I bought the turboon and turbo kit used together, they probably have 10-15k miles on them and ot obviously wasn't an issue before lol

I would use a -12 if you can fit it but a -10 will work.

Yes, -10 AN minimum is a must for a drain line.

I'd say your ok then man. Like I said, when I saw the oil on the bottom of the turbo, it was about a drop. I'm only using the 45* because I can. Another kid I know has a very tight drain setup with a 90* on his turbo outlet and it only drops about 1.5". He has no problems with it.
