Not too many turbo 4.8 builds that I've seen so I couldn't tell ya what it may make for power. If you can get it to hold together at 17-20 PSI, then it would probably make around 600 to possibly 650 RWHP. But 20 psi is a lot of boost I would think, even with meth. I'm shooting for 600 RWHP with my LS6 cammed, ARP studded 5.3 with a 76mm. Stock 317's on it as well which should give it right about 8.6:1. If that gives you any idea of what you may possibly make.

Mine is a stock 5.3. I made 588 to the wheels blowing through the convertor. However, I run E85. With pump gas and meth it is probably equal to the E85. My tuner thinks it is probably closer to 635 to the wheels. I run 15lbs of boost. The 5.3 and 4.8 are similiar.

-port+polish stock 862 heads
-cut seats and install stock 317 intake valves
-install a set of patriot dual springs w/ titanium retainers
-custom grind 224 cam
-double roller timing chain
-ARP headstuds
-oem 05+ 4.8l mls headgaskets
-stock bottom end
-truck manifolds w/ v bands welded on
-TC76 turbo
-Aeromotive A1000
-80# siemens deka's
-Aeromotive a1000 FPR
- -8an feed line
- -6an return line
-Edelbrock victor jr ls1 intake
-low profile elbow
-95mm throttlebody
-3500 stall convertor

we came to the agreement this should safely make 650+ wheel hp on a good tune with meth. what do you guys think i mean the guys on Horsepower made 1200 with twins lol so it should at least be able to get 7

I don't think you will see that high on a single 76 at that low of boost but go for it. If you are willing to go more boost then probably yes. I personally wouldn't touch the heads. I would forge the internals before I spent **** on the heads. The heads will be fine at that boost level without touching them.
